Today, just a few days into the holiday season, Birdsbesafe has started to sell its first EcoKitty product, the Striped Fish Toy with organic catnip.

We at Birdsbesafe are very excited! We want to bring ecofriendly fabric toys with organic catnip to your home and to your cat.

Where did we get this idea? Well, our cat, Emmy, has had the privilege of playing with our fabric scraps for quite a while now. She loves to pull them around the house in the middle of the night, like prey.

Of course, it was only natural that the toy be made with organic cotton fabric in the body (that the cat chews), organic cotton stuffing, and organic catnip (raised by our neighbor, Diane). We love organically grown things here in Vermont!

We sewed up the design, and you'll love the beautifully sewn fabric string. It's several layers thick and durable. This toy will last your kitty a long time.

And we're just getting started with EcoKitty. Check back very soon for a few more products that your cat will love.
