Endorsement by Author Elizabeth Gilbert
Jan/04/2012
On New Year's day, Birdsbesafe received this special customer endorsement. It's written with a particular literary flare. If you recognize the sparkling prose, that's because it was written by author of Eat, Pray, Love, Elizabeth Gilbert, who has been a Birdsbesafe customer for 18 months or so. She nicely agreed to write a few words for us.
"What a great product this is! Not only do my cats look jazzy and Elizabethian in these collars, but their murder rates among sprees of local sparrows and robins have been cut down enormously. All very cool." - Elizabeth Gilbert

As the inventor and maker of Birdsbesafe cat collars, I get a little thrill every time someone writes to tell me that their cat's bird-hunting problems have been solved by my product. I easily remember when my cat, George's hunting problem ended.
So, when I get a thank you note, like this one, I can relate to it.
"Hi Nancy, I just wanted to thank you for sending the collar that I purchase last week, and also, the extra one that you sent as a gift (perfect for Christmas). So far he has not brought any birds so I am very happy. I appreciate all what you do and I will pass the information about your product to all my friends that are dealing with the same issues. Long life to birds and cats and all beings. Thank you, [customer name]."
I appreciate all the letters we receive. My customers' gratitude motivates me and I'm lucky to be able to help the birds this way.

How lucky am I to have her melodic words to market by? Thank you! By the way, Ms. Gilbert is a part-time shopkeeper of an intriguing, museum-like warehouse of eclectic Eastern statuary and other imported goods in Frenchtown, NJ. You can read about it at TwoButtons.com.
Soon, we at Birdsbesafe will also get feedback in the form of a scientific study! As I have mentioned before, a scientist at Murdoch University, Mike Calver, in Western Australia, is studying the effectiveness of Birdsbesafe with 30 volunteer cat owners. He is starting now, and we'll let you know the results as soon as we do. We are so excited to hear what he comes up with down under.
Happy New Year, cat owners. Remember, if you can keep your cat indoors, great. If not, consider protecting the birds with Birdsbesafe!
