As we continue to journey through this pandemic year, we send well wishes to all our cat-owning and bird-protecting friends, here and abroad. Here's the latest information from Birdsbesafe headquarters in Vermont.
Earlier in the pandemic, our US First Class Packages were slowed by traveling by ship rather than airplane, but this situation seems to have been resolved. (Thank you to our patient customers who waited on deliveries!)
We have resumed shipping to most central European countries, again. Delivery times may occasionally be 3 - 4 weeks, rather than the normal 1 - 2 weeks to Europe, so please expect to be flexible about delivery times.
Remember, when we ship overseas, your country may impose customs fees on your package. Those fees are the customer's responsibility. Thank you.

Today, in Vermont, we are past our peak foliage color display, and the first snow fell in the White Mountains last night in nearby NH. Many species of birds have already migrated through, on their way to wintering locations to the south.
A few weeks ago, we saw this unidentified Thrush species, with a few other birds, grazing over a period of days as they fed for the long flights to come. And today, there were Dark-eyed Juncos and a small flock of these Sparrows.

UPDATE: Oct. 20. We are seeing slow shipping times for individual packages to Australia and New Zealand. If your tracking shows no change for a week, be reassured your packaging is still traveling towards you, but slowly.
The postage cost is very high, and the shipping times too slow. More news, as we know it.
