My cat hates this, but I hate bird murder worse. We have a lifted deck with no exit so cats can enjoy fresh air. One catches birds mid air. This seems to be helping so far.
KJ could be your poster girl!! (Can I send you a photo?) She's an athletic, feral cat who goes after pretty much anything that moves, and your collar cover has cut way down on her bird captures. She's also a sweet companion who enjoys her social life with humans, and she seems quite proud of her Birdsbesafe collar, which she wears part time.
My cats haven't caught any birds since using these! And they leave them on!

I did not expect my cat to leave this collar on for more than an hour, but it’s been over a week now that he’s managed to not lose it or get it off… and no more dead birds!!! I’m so relieved about that. It’s beautiful and makes me giggle to see him in it.
