Thinking spring at Birdsbesafe® headquarters in Vermont today--despite the four inches of new snow overnight! The weather was unseasonably warm for the last several weeks, which was eery, but welcome. The daffodil buds and lilac buds emerged, but today they are covered in snow. The American Robins have left descended to the river valley, where it might be raining rather than snowing. Spring 2021 has begun.
We are busiest protecting birds in the spring and early summer months. This spring, the pandemic is not yet resolved, but we have normal operations for our e-commerce business this year. We are grateful!
We are grateful for the loyalty and dedication of our sewing partners, who have sewn our products ever since 2015. Our products are made in the United States, and they always have been. It is a decision of ours to support American manufacturing, and to support the fair compensation of the sewing professionals whose hands guide our products through the sewing process. We rely on their superb professional sewing capabilities in order to bring you a beautiful collar cover to help protect birds -- and to dress up your cat in an attractive way.
Fabric is the main "ingredient" of our product. Over the years, fabric prices have increased. Today, we raised the price of our product. It was our first price increase since 2013. We needed our prices to better reflect our actual costs. We hope you will understand and appreciate that it was an overdue adjustment.
Thank you, as always, for caring about cats and birds, and thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making Birdsbesafe® company grow and be successful in working to protect birds around the world.

Happy Spring, cat owners and bird lovers.
Along with spring rain and greening plant growth, the the migratory songbirds are returning to the north of North America and other northern latitudes. In my yard, we celebrate the first American Robins coming to look for a nesting habitat. Their singing at dawn and dusk ushers in the welcome retreat of wintertime, while our last snowbank melts. Where we live, birdfeeders are removed for the warm months, to avoid attracting black bears!
