Well I'm happy to report it works excellent for my dog too!! Luna is a 15 lb terrier and she has killed about six song birds too many. She brings them to me proudly because it is a part of her DNA. We have had no more bird deaths since she has been wearing it. I am so relieved, what a fabulous product!! I'm so glad to find your site.
I didn’t realize it had a reflective edge to it, that’s a nice feature. Hopefully this will work, I will come back to update! So far the quality looks great.

This product is AMAZING! I was so frustrated and sad that my cat was leaving me 'gifts' at the door, but since wearing the collar, she is unsuccessful at catching birds. She doesn't mind wearing it at all. I have two of them in rotation now on breakaway collars with bells. If all outdoor cats wore them, millions of birds could be spared. It's a welcome compromise for cats that insist on going out. I tried to keep my cat in but she destroyed the moldings around my doors she was so desperate to get out, so I gave in after several years. I have to add that she still brings mice home, but no longer birds, which makes me very happy.
Not only is the birdsbesafe collar so vibrant and easy to put on. But it really does help making sure our feather friends are safe. Also, makes it easy to find the furbabies when they wander off
I ordered these extra ones because we only had one of them. One day recently it was in the wash and she went out and brought home a bird! It definitely works. Now she can have one on at all times.
I am shocked. Our two cats were bringing in 2+ birds a day. I didn’t expect this collar to work, but I thought “I’ll try anything.”
In 3 weeks, our little rainbow clowns have not caught a single bird.
We even watched it happen. One cat was slithering in the grass toward a robin. The robin flew away before she could even get close.
There were initial issues with us not having the collar tight enough and one cat would get her front leg consistently stuck in the collar. But now that we both have figured it out, it is worth every penny (as long as they don’t lose them 😅)

I can’t say for sure if it works for the birds but she sports it really well! We think it’s adorable on her! The quality is very nice and it’s worth the money. I hope it will help the birds out but we shall see.
