Tinx hasn’t worn it long enough to comment whether or not the birds are feeling safer when she is nearer to them.
Though I will say the collar is nicely made, the reflection strip looks great and she feels comfortable wearing it. She is more at home and that maybe a sign that birds are no longer her playmates to be found.
Thankyou, will buy again from you when another is needed…

We always use the Birdbesafe colored collars and these breakaway inner collars work very well. Easy to snap on and take off.
My cats aren’t necessarily the pickiest but they have had a bit of difficulty wearing other collars. So far this is the only collar they haven’t tried to take off. I haven’t ran into any problems with the collars as they do break away if the cats are caught onto something. The collar has a nice flexibility to it. Overall so far a good experience
This is a good quality product but for our boys we need a louder bell and easier on and off ability. We only put it on them for their supervised outings and the quick release is great for emergency- but kinda awkward to take on and off several times a day. The bell is too quiet in our opinion. Luckily the big collar has been doing the trick fantastically so no need for the extra bell right now.
I used to have to rescue a bird every other day inside my house or clean up what was left of a bird. My cats have been wearing these collars for two weeks and apparently, the birds are safe!
I was going on vacation recently and the cat sitter asked that I have a bell collar so she could find the cats when she came in as one of them I call the round mound of sound tends to not be overly food motivated and will eventually come down when there's a sitter for food but may need to stretch and walk around a bit beforehand.
We have purchased a few collars in the past, two of which looked quite similar to this albeit with bowties, and the kitty jerks I live with managed to remove the collars somewhere they can not be found (we suspect they removed them in a closet behind some furniture at this point but who knows)
Anyway, it worked for its intended purpose which was to notify the cat sitter where the round mound of sound was.
I adopted a couple of cats, and of course they need collars. I selected the pretty, green BirdsBeSafe breakaway collar for my rusty-colored cat. It was easy to adjust. The construction is excellent. It's reflective, which is a great feature even if I don't intend on letting these cats outside. The best part of all is that in addition to the breakaway clasp (which looks like a cute cat's head), the fabric is stretchy! This collar wasn't just designed with the safety of birds in mind but also the safety of the cats! My only possible complaint is that the bell, which has a nice, light jingle, is more of a blue color than green.
Do I recommend this collar? Most definitely! In fact, I just ordered a second one, this time in blue, for my other new cat!
Got this for a 2 month old kitten and he was very annoyed for about 30 min and then he just acclimated. It looks adorable, has a decent sizing range and the bell helps keep up with this little fella.
This is an attractive colorful cat color with an effective bell to help warn smaller furry friends outdoors.
It's easy to adjust and secure on your family cat.
Compared to other "breakway" collars, this one takes some force to undue which may help prevent losing outdoors but I'm not sure if a cat can undue. The material isn't as soft as others on the market but my cat seems comfortable and doesn't complain.
Nice collar. Breakaway clasp is snug. Love that the band is stretchy. With all collars, I like to know that if for some reason the breakaway doesn't work, it will still slide off. I added another bell to it. The bell is very quiet. She is an inside cat, so she doesn't need it to scare birds, but it does aid in locating her sometimes. Would recommend.
